12 八 10 NRG Energy Texas wind power project starts
Headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey, NRG Energy, has started its wind power project in Langford, 25 miles south of Texas, Santangelo 150-megawatt wind generators farm.
The project’s 100 GE 1.5 MW generator expected to produce annually more than 525,000 MWh of windmill power, the electricity will be sold to the ERCOT system. 9 months of construction period will create about 200 jobs, the current operating facilities will employ 10 full-time professionals. Padoma wind turbines, NRG, a subsidiary, the development of this project, which will give Texas families more than 10 million electricity.
